Information for New Patients
Good dental health has a lot to do with your overall health. So we aim to provide every patient with a blueprint for lifelong dental health.
First visit
In addition to prompt and welcoming service, a first visit includes:
- A thorough exam of your teeth, gums, tongue and jaw joint
- X-rays for diagnosis and as a reference for future visits
Please note, while we will gladly work with your insurance carrier regarding x-ray coverage, we always recommend x-rays based upon your need, not upon your provider's stipulation.
- An on-screen camera-view of what Dr. Murray finds
Options to make you comfortable
Hurting is simply not an option, so take your pick of ways to be pain free.
- Numbing. We even numb the gum before we numb the nerves.
- Headphones. Many folks find music or talk-radio a welcome distraction.
- Nitrous Oxide or good old laughing gas. This option takes the edge off pain and lets you float through most anything. It also dissipates quickly in your system so driving after you leave is not a problem.
